For Indian parents managing specialist visits

Your child’s health,
in one place.

Pediatrician at Manipal. Allergist at Apollo. ENT somewhere else. Lab reports on WhatsApp. Defyd.Health is a calm, parent-owned record that keeps your child’s history together and ready for the next visit.

The problem

If your child sees three doctors, you already know.

Pediatric care in India is fragmented by design. Every hospital has its own portal, its own paper file, its own format. The coordinating brain — yours — is doing what should be built into the system.

Records live in five places

The pediatrician’s app. A folder of WhatsApp screenshots. SRL Diagnostics PDFs in your inbox. Apollo discharge summaries on paper. The allergy panel from a year ago that you can’t find when you need it.

Specialists don’t see each other’s notes

Your pediatrician at Manipal doesn’t see the allergy panel from Apollo. Your ENT doesn’t know the pediatrician changed the dose last month. Each one starts the conversation from zero.

You’re the single point of failure

You hold the medication list, the test history, the symptom timeline, and the last six visits — in your head, on a Notes app, or in a stack of files. One forgotten detail and the next visit goes off-track.

How it works

Three steps. Same as you’d explain it to another parent.

  1. 01Step one

    Upload what you already have

Photos of paper reports. PDFs the lab emailed. WhatsApp screenshots from a specialist. The AI reads them, extracts what matters, and files them in your child’s timeline.

  2. 02Step two

    Defyd organises the story

One chronological record across every specialist. Cross-specialist flags when something needs attention. A plain-language summary you can actually scan before a visit.

  3. 03Step three

    Share with the next doctor

One tap to assemble a visit-ready summary. Time-limited share link, OTP gate for the doctor, automatic expiry. No PDFs to email, no folders to dig through.

Trust & security

Health data deserves quiet, careful handling.

We’re a small team building this for our own kids. The security choices below aren’t marketing — they’re what we’d insist on as parents.

Stored in India

Files in GCS asia-south1 (Mumbai). Database in Supabase asia-south1. Data does not leave India.

Encrypted end to end

TLS 1.3 in transit. AES-256 at rest. Sensitive PII fields encrypted again at the application layer.

90-day key rotation

Cloud KMS rotates encryption keys automatically. No long-lived secrets sitting in our servers.

DPDP-aligned

Built around the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, with verifiable parental consent for child data.

Delete means delete

Right-to-erasure runs a real cascade. Files purged from object storage. No soft-delete shadow copies.

No ads, no data sales

We charge parents, not advertisers. Your child’s record is never a product.

AI extraction runs on Anthropic’s Claude API under a no-training contract. Document content is sent for structured extraction only and dropped from the API session afterwards. We log every read, share, and delete to a tamper-evident audit trail.

From the founder

I built this because I’ve lived it.

My child sees a pediatrician, an allergist, and an ENT, across three different hospitals in Bangalore. The records were never in one place. The lab reports arrived as PDFs, the prescriptions on paper, the visit notes in three separate apps that didn’t talk to each other.

We missed things. A medication change one specialist made never reached the other. A test result sat in an inbox until the next visit. The mental load of holding it all together fell on us, every time.

Defyd.Health is the tool I wanted as a parent. A calm, organised record that travels with the child, not the hospital. Built in India. Owned by you. Quiet enough to use at 2 a.m. when something is actually wrong.
